Happy Mothers Day!
Happy Mothers Day!
By Katee Thomsloch
Kudos to the mothers that have given birth. I commend those parents, grandparents, family, friends, neighbors and the public that choose to make a difference in a child’s life. It does take a village to raise a child. Children become what they have experienced in life; how they are treated, being inspired by teachers, mentors and the people that take time to hear what they have to say.
We all take part in the molding of the minds of the upcoming generation that will one day take over our country. Parenting does not come with a manual! It is hard to give what you have not experienced or display what you have not received. The greatest gift of all is that we have the ability to make changes through knowledge, books, mentors and public figures, and to become the inspiration for our children of the future.
So many of the females that I read about have the mother figure come thru in spirit, the most common message being, “I’m sorry” and “I am proud of you”. Our mothers and other spirits that have passed on still need our prayers and forgiveness to excel to a higher level in the spirit world. Please continue to pray for them as they are always sending us signals from beyond to remind us of them.
They hope that we come to the understanding that the time they spent with us on earth was rearranged, yes, our choice! You picked your mother; however, you might say, “Well, I didn’t feel loved or receive encouragement.” The lesson is, that in spite of what you did not receive you are given the opportunity to make something positive out of that.
I believe we pick our family; you might say, “Well, we had issues, so why did I pick them?” You chose them in order to be given a chance to make a different outcome of a difficult situation; a chance to do it right. The most valuable lesson is forgiveness and love, when you feel you were not given the right tools to rise above the circumstances.
If you can’t ‘right the wrong’ with that person directly, you can, “Pay it forward.” If you were hungry, you feed a family; unjustly punished, help find justice for a victim; if abused, help fight abuse. If your parent was addicted, help an addict; if you were adopted, help a single mother. We gain entrance to a higher level by helping others over the hurdles we experienced in our life.
Your own personal experience can give you passion to move mountains. That is what is recognized in the spirit world; give where you feel life has been unjust to you. If you had the perfect childhood, God bless you, that’s not your karma, you can still go out and make a difference on this earth.
