CAMU CAMU: The Amazonian Superfood
With cold and flu season upon us, many of us are turning to vitamin C and other immune boosting supplements to help ward off the seasonal scourge. Another great way to protect ourselves is to take Camu Camu, a berry from the Amazonian rain forests. Camu Camu is packed with more natural vitamin C than any other food on the planet, and provides approximately 50 times more vitamin C than an orange. Since it’s a food-based supplement, and a not a synthetic vitamin, it has a full profile of naturally occurring minerals and amino acids which aid the body in absorbing and utilizing vitamin C.
