This is a mixed level yoga class for beginner and intermediate students. Every pose can be modified to fit your level of practice.
We will be practicing stretching to help tone and strengthen the body. The physical postures we practice will help to improve your circulation, flexibility, stamina and balance all while centering and connecting the body, mind and breath. We will practice breath work, which helps to reduce stress and anxiety.
Yoga enhances the awareness of the body and breath and can help you to develop a state of mental calm and emotional stability. This class is wonderful for anyone who wants to reduce mental and physical stress. Each class will end with a relaxation meditation.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, and a towel or a strap. Please be prepared to work in bare feet.
This class is approximately 60 minutes.
