Enter Stage Right presents
“Will on the Water 2011” St. Clair, MI – August 13 & 14, 2011
Enter Stage Right theater company has announced our second annual Shakespeare festival – “Will on the Water 2011”.
Following last year’s successful celebration of “user friendly Shakespeare”, our company will be producing the festival over two days this summer – August 13th and 14th in the city of St. Clair, Michigan.
Strolling players, a musical consort, and other performers will recreate the world that surrounded Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, while ‘Pageant Wagons’ will give visitors a taste of 16th century life ranging from sword fighting to dancing. ‘Stalls’ will offer a literal taste of the time period, and town criers will proclaim the virtues of area businesses in verse.
The “Will on the Water” steering committee is already hard at working preparing this year’s festival – would you like to join us? We need a strong group of volunteers – the time commitment is up to you and we welcome all levels of experience.
Auditions will be held later in the spring.
Contact Stewart Reed at the email or phone number above if you’d like to work with us as a volunteer, or to be notified of audition dates.
Join the fun this August in the city of St. Clair. The festival runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm both days.
