I once had a heated discussion with a friend that happens to be a psychologist because, by his standards, energy medicine is not measurable. “It’s not quantifiable!” He proclaimed. For a time, conversations like that would really bother me. After all, most of the work that we do is not recognized by the mainstream medical establishment as measurably beneficial.
If you’ve experienced this before, you may begin questioning the validity of your healing modality. If this is an issue for you, it’s very important to work toward overcoming these feelings. But how!?
Start Where You Are
Wherever you are in your learning journey is exactly where you are supposed to be – novice, master and all points in between.
You have a unique and special connection with source energy. That means that your unique energy along with your modality is a one-of-a-kind combination. No one else in the world can do what you do the way you do it.
The Law of Attraction states: I attract to my life whatever I give my energy intent and focus to, whether negative or positive. Most people’s immediate response, when I give that definition of Law of Attraction is “yes…I know that…”
A very important aspect of understanding the Law of Attraction, which is commonly overlooked, is that Law of Attraction responds mostly to how you feel about what you say and how you feel about what you think.
Sit quietly and ask yourself this question: “How do I feel about the work that I do?”
The illusion is that other people will question the effectiveness of the method of healing, the reality is that if we have feelings of inadequacy about ourselves, that carries over into everything we do, including our healing work.
Know that your method of healing is a gift from the Divine…let that sink in…your unique method of healing – Reiki, massage, clairvoyance, etc. – is a gift from The Divine. Use that gift to make the world a better place by creating abundance in the form of better health for humankind.
As practitioners, always remember that the “measurable result” lies within the fact that the client feels better when he or she leaves our office.
Realizing that truth should put your thought pattern on a different wavelength or frequency. Those that are not interested or attracted to your healing style are free to connect with others, put your focus elsewhere and you will begin to attract those that are searching for you. That’s right; there are individuals that want the service that you provide. Where are they? Here are 3 easy steps to help you begin to attract clients:
Step 1: Identify your ideal client and be as specific as possible. It’s important to determine who your ideal client is, also ask yourself why this type of person would be your ideal client.
Step 2: Set forth your intent with this affirmation: “I am attracting to me at this time, through Divine Guidance, those that will benefit from my unique healing energy.”
Step 3: Listen to your guidance (God, Source Energy, The Universe, your higher self, etc) and act upon the guidance given.
For example, if you feel the urge to take a different route to or from work, reconnect with an old friend or seek out specific information or training…do it. Never override your intuition and never second-guess yourself.
Once you set forth the intent about what you want, your subconscious mind begins finding ways to bring your desire to fruition. That’s not New-Age philosophy, it’s science. Goggle “RAS” (reticular activated system) for an explanation of how the subconscious mind searches for the things we focus on.
Many blessings await you as you connect with your higher self and receive Divine Guidance. Believe in yourself, have confidence in your abilities and begin to fulfill your Divine purpose.
