Summertime brings a lot of opportunities for entertaining. One of my favorite things to prepare is quiche. It is perfect and easy for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It can be part of a buffet table or served individually with fruit or mixed green salad. I will present for you the basic quiche recipe I use at Ginger’s Café.
Variations that make quiche so versatile and excellent any time of the day;
Breakfast – add 1 cup chopped bacon or crumbled sausage. Morning Star makes sausage crumbles for vegetarian preferences.
Lunch – add ½ cup chopped broccoli and ½ cup cheddar cheese or add ½ cup chopped spinach and ¼ cup onions.
Dinner – add 1 cup chicken and ½ cup chopped peppers.
Let your imagination soar. There is no limit to the lovely combinations you can create that your family and guests will thoroughly enjoy.
