Inner Peace Festival in Ann Arbor

Center Of Light Ann Arbor presents the second annual Inner Peace Festival in Ann Arbor.
The vision of the Inner Peace Festival is to provide the Ann Arbor community with a peaceful start into the summer season.  The festival will take place on Sunday, June 24th on Main Street from 11 am – 5 pm. This will be a landmark celebration to unite Ann Arbor in a common spirit of neighborly unity. The event will be opened by the Mayor of Ann Arbor and end with a peace parade.
Positioned in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, Main Street between Liberty and Washington, the event will provide something for everyone. Festivities will include live  kirtan , gospel music, drumming sounds from Asia,  local food, spiritual “mall” show casing  various local  spiritual and meditation groups, giant walkable labyrinth, Moroccan meditation area, blessing tent, yoga, face painting and other children’s activities. We offer the festival to the community as a free gift, celebrating the value of peace within ourselves and throughout the world. The event is organized by the Center of Light, Ann Arbor, a nonprofit spiritual school dedicated to promoting peace in the local community.
