Everything Is Just an Interesting Point of View

Just what is a point of view? A point of view is a particular way of looking at something; it is a position from which something is observed. An opinion is a point of view.

There are people that have very strong opinions or points of view. They are very attached to what they believe to be true, and they will defend their point of view at all costs. How much freedom is there in defending a point of view?

In Access Consciousness® we say that your point of view creates your reality, not the other way around. We have many kinds of points of view that we have picked up from others. We buy into them and they run our lives (create our reality). These can be either conscious or unconscious.

So, think about it for a minute. How many original points of view do you have? Zip, zero, nada. These points of view that you have bought into have been issued to you by others. Yes, issued to you. Now you know that when someone says you have issues, you know that they really mean stuff that has been issued to you. Holy Moley!

These points of view can really lock up and limit your life, your living and your reality. So, this key to freedom, “Everything is Just an Interesting Point of View” starts to unlock the limitations defined by the point of view.

Here’s how it works. Every time you get into a mind spin where you are circling around a point of view, you can say to yourself, “Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.” Repeat this ten times and sense the freedom you have in your being.

For instance, the saying “It always gets darkest before the dawn” is a point of view. You might ask yourself, “What does this phrase really mean?” However, that might just send you down the rabbit hole trying to figure it out. I’ll talk more about “figuring it out” and where that leads in a future article.

So, now I can repeat the phrase, “Interesting point of view, I have this point of view” ten times to get more clarity and to create more space in my being.

What you really are looking for is Awareness. Awareness is seeing what you can see – and not having a point of view about it.

Dr. Dain Heer says, “The definition if point of view is contained in the phrase point of view; it’s the point from which you view something, which means you can only occupy one place in the universe at any one time. You can’t be in multiple places. When you take a point of view, you eliminate space and compress it down to one point, which is where you create limitation.”

Awareness takes you out of that compressed view of reality and opens you up to more possibilities. So, if you so choose, you can use this tool to change your reality.
