Some of the most powerful tools in your spiritual development toolbox are healing affirmations. They are essentially prayers that connect you with the infinite wisdom of your higher self and its connection to God, the universe, and all of life. Affirmations help us to reprogram the lower self’s fear and resistance to positive change. The lower self clings to the pseudo-solutions, erroneous conclusions, and distortions of reality that prevent an individual from living the life of freedom and eternal bliss that is their God-given divine right.
During my 35 years of spiritual counseling, I have had great success creating personal affirmations for my clients and students. Affirmations can be used to successfully heal disease, physical problems, negative emotional attachments, and even repair relationships. I create personal affirmations using the insights into an individual’s plan of life provided by their full birth name and the date and time of their birth. This plan of life chart is combined with the brilliant teachings of Louise Hay (see Body, Mind, and Spirit, February 2025) to customize healing affirmations according to an individual’s personal life lessons, challenges, and timing of life events.
Here is a universal affirmation everyone can use for maintaining youth. It works best if you read it out loud before bed and when you wake up. If used daily, it will energize you, and you will look and feel younger.
I am one with the universe and all of life. I accept divine guidance, and I embrace spiritual wisdom. I am forgiving, letting go, growing, healing, and renewing. I am standing proud, straight, tall, and free—relaxed, strong, confident, secure, and capable on every level of living.
The divine inner light of my eternal youth shines through into my outer world and radiates my body, mind, and spirit, keeping them safe, secure, vital, healthy, and sparkling in appearance. This rising flow of pure, positive, powerful, deeply inner-connected, cooperatively balanced masculine and feminine life energy, joy, and pleasure within me lifts me up and makes me young again. I am the power, the beauty, and the love of God’s great eternal expression. I am safe, I am secure, I am peace—all is well, I am free and forever young.
