Michigan is all set to witness its First ever annual International Vegetarian Food Festival from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Oct 29th, inviting all to join together to promote Vegetarianism, Compassion and environmental friendliness at Suburban Showplace in Novi.This Food Festival brings the very exuberance of the food culture as an occasion for fun-filled indulgence for thousands of people from all over the region. The vivacity of the gathering is enhanced with live music, yoga and healthy living seminars.
“International Vegetarian Food Festival is a harmonious celebration of human life, Animal life and Nature” stated Prafulla Kharkar, event promoter of Food Festival. “Just imagine the sight of 200-plus vegetarian dishes offerings all participants mouth watering taste, knowledge on healthy living and a lively atmosphere full of lilting and soothing music. This full day event, filled with live concert playing music, presents a memorable experience of spicy food, ethnic shopping and much more.”

“This kind of festival is happening first time ever and we will be awarding top restaurant awards based on People’s choice ” Prafulla said. “We are a non-profit organization seeking to help people, animals and the environment by promoting a vegetarian way of life. One can also join the Vegetarian Society of Michigan and help create more awareness of environmental impact in our society. We also share two weeks support plan to go meatless as a part of this membership along with lifetime mentoring. There are many activities planned from People’s monthly meet to Cooking classes as a part of this membership.
