Identify Your Stress Indicators

Identify Your Stress Indicators

Do you experience gas, bloating, indigestion, heartburn or other digestive issues?

Digestive difficulties indicate a deficiency of specific alkaline minerals, and digestive enzymes. When there are insufficient digestive enzymes to break down the foods eaten, gas and bloating will occur. Acid reflux and heartburn occur when there are too few alkaline minerals to neutralize the digestive stomach acids. Minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium, are essential for proper digestion to take place. These minerals occur naturally in live water, but are filtered out of most processed and bottled water. Poor digestion is also related to hormonal imbalance.

Perfecting weight

Millions of Americans are trying to lose weight, spending billions of dollars a year on diet programs and products. People are losing 20-30 pounds in a few months and feeling good. But within a few years later, find that nearly all have regained whatever weight they lost. Why can’t millions of people who are on a diet program, lose weight permanently? Why is there so much variation in gaining or losing weight? Obesity has become a crucial health problem.

Excess amount of body fat is obesity. As we all know obese persons are at increased risk to many more health conditions than the normal person. They are more prone to chronic diseases like high blood pressure, stroke, heart diseases, diabetes, arthritis, liver diseases, gall stones, gout, infertility, and many more. Fat is an essential component to our body and is termed as “Med” in Ayurveda. It keeps the body well nourished, causes sweating, stores energy, and nourishes the bone tissue.

Physical Transformation and Inner Life Miracles: A Story of Chi Nei Tsang

It began thousands of years ago in the mountain ranges of Taoist China. Behind the walls of monasteries in the region, monks needed to detoxify, strengthen, and refine their bodies to maintain the high energy levels required for their stringent spiritual practices. So they used the principles of both Kung-Fu and Tai Chi Chuan to develop a sort of “applied Chi Kung,” and thus was born the rare yet powerful practice of Chi Nei Tsang.

Menopause

Women are blessed with the qualities of Love, compassion, and affection, sensitivity to emotions, courageous, and exalted with being in womanhood. Many traditions celebrate the day a girl gets her monthly cycle. It is the most important aspect of a woman’s life. This time is called the Menarche when the monthly cycle starts. In the past a woman went through menarche near the end of her teens, quickly became pregnant, nursed for 2 – 4 years after each pregnancy, during which time she would normally not menstruate. Modern women, however, go through menarche earlier (higher estrogen levels due to artificial light, chemicals and pollution, and a richer diet), they usually deliver only 1-2 children, which they nurse for a relatively short time. They therefore go through many more menstrual cycles, the hormonal swings of which can cause a wide range of imbalances and complaints

Can Salt Make Your Life Better

Can Salt Make You Life Better

The answer to this question, according to “conventional medical wisdom,” is a resounding NO! But the real answer, according to Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., author of Salt Your Way To Health, and many other leading experts, is that the right kind of salt can make your life better! This means that the term “conventional medical wisdom” may be somewhat of an oxymoron. You will have to decide for yourself. As with many other issues relating to health, the “wisdom” in today’s “conventional” medicine has gotten lost along the way. The controversy regarding salt is a prime example.

Uncovering the Mysteries of Attraction

Uncovering the Mysteries of Attraction

February is a month of love and romance – with lots of traditions revolving around Valentine’s Day. Although card stores and flower venders heavily advertise these traditions, participating in these traditions doesn’t have to be akin to supporting the economy on a purely commercial level, as many significant others with poor memories for important dates often insist! Whether you consider Valentines Day to be a “Hallmark holiday” or not, it’s a good time to show that special someone a special gesture of caring…
