Come and learn to put your creative energies to work in a beautifully finished wood ornament collage. Using a powerful poem as inspiration, you will create a wooden ornament that you can hang anywhere in your space to remind you of your own beauty and power in the universe. Along the way you’ll laugh and learn and connect with like-minded women!

Cheri Caddick holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and has been a facilitator of community art and writing workshops for more than 15 years. She is the recipient of a 2007 RARE Foundation Everyday Heroes Award for her work in dedication to the healing potential of expressive writing in community settings, and was also awarded a 2009 Ragdale Foundation Artist’s Residency. Her writing has been published in multiple literary journals and anthologies, and she has conducted creativity workshops for colleges, community outreach programs, the Detroit Public Schools, Washtenaw Public Schools, Macomb Public Schools, Berkley Public Schools, and conferences across the country. Her novels, Leaving Walloon, Falling Down Girl and Falling Down Girlfriend, are available on Amazon in both print and digital.
