Beginner Partner Shibari

**Shibari is an artistic practice of Japanese rope bondage, which can be done solo or with a partner.**
The intention behind the practice can vary – to tap into a deep meditative state, to help unblock trauma stored into the body, as a creative art form, and to connect sensually with your partner.
In the partner shibari class, we will teach ties that one can’t tie on themselves, i.e., arms tied behind the back. For this class, it is mandatory to come with a partner, platonic or romantic. **No previous experience is needed.**
The doors open for this class at 6:00 pm.
Class will go from 6:30-9:00 pm.
***** A recording we have made will be sent out in advance, which will go over safety, basic materials info, boundaries, and more! This will help you get comfortable with terms and concepts before you attend. Each student will be sent home with handouts and video tutorials we created of the ties taught in class.
***** You are welcome to bring your own rope, buy from us, or borrow our communal rope during class.
The rope for sale is *conditioned jute rope* priced at $10 per rope, and we will use 3/couple for class.
This can be purchased upon arrival.
