Hypnosis for Sleep Paralysis

Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious but unable to move. It happens when you pass between stages of wakefulness and sleep.  Sleep paralysis typically lasts from a few seconds to a couple of minutes, although it can feel much longer to those experiencing it.  There are metaphysical as well as medical reasons for this disorder, and a certified hypnotherapist should be able to address both.

Medical Aspects:a

If sleep paralysis occurs frequently or is accompanied by other symptoms, it may be helpful to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and guidance.  It may also be related to conditions such as narcolepsy, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety attacks, or lack of sleep. These conditions can disrupt sleep patterns, increasing the likelihood of sleep paralysis.

Metaphysical Aspects:

Metaphysically, sleep paralysis can indicate spiritual growth.  It can also indicate the beginning of, or a return from, Astral projection.  Chakra Balancing helps remove any energetic blocks that may interfere with the process.  Understanding the metaphysical aspects of sleep paralysis may encourage people to explore their spiritual paths, seek healing and protection, and gain insight into their consciousness.
