Celebrate the start of the holiday season at a European Christmas Light Festival & Marketplace filled with festive flavors, family activities and magical moments.
HOLLY, Mich. — The holiday magic begins November 27 as HollyDazzle opens at the Michigan Renaissance Festival grounds with the lighting of a giant walk-through Christmas tree. The light show transforms Hollygrove into a glowing holiday village on select dates through December 31.
More than half a million twinkling lights illuminate holiday scenes, with games and photo opportunities along the way. From a family’s first visit with Santa to a romantic evening beneath the lights, HollyDazzle offers plenty of ways to begin the holiday season.
Activities included with general admission include free hot cocoa and a complimentary gift for children, train rides, a petting zoo, an Elf on the Shelf hunt, holiday crafts and visits with Santa.
Hearty soups, chili, hot dogs, walking tacos and turkey legs are available for purchase, along with cookies, brownies, cannoli and other seasonal treats.

Adults can reserve a five-course igloo dinner or join the Polar Pub Crawl. Igloos seat up to four guests, and dinner reservations include general admission to HollyDazzle.
The Run Run Rudolph 5K Run/Walk takes place Sunday, December 13, at 4 p.m. Participants can run or walk through the festival grounds. Registration includes a HollyDazzle admission ticket, a custom long-sleeve shirt and a finisher medal.
