Orion Area Chamber of Commerce Presents 2nd Annual Healthy Body, Healthy Mind Expo
The Chamber is pleased to offer the 2nd Annual Healthy Body, Healthy Mind to community members seeking guidance on one or more Components of Health: fitness, spiritual/behavioral, medical, environmental, financial, alternative medicine, nutrition, and family. The Expo includes numerous crowd-drawing features such as a “Kids on the Move” area, Wellness Card, a Soup & Stew Stroll, and a Dessert Dash. The event is sponsored in part by Birmingham Sealcoat, Golling Buick GMC, Northern Flooring & Interiors, The Birney Directive, State Farm Scott Ockerman Agency, Classic Lanes, and Gotta Have Glass.
Exhibitors include Legacy Center, Holistic Health by Valerie, Ideal Core Pilates, Oakland Sports Chiropractic, and Kresge Eye Institute. Event-goers will be able to talk with representatives from Brain Life Center, Health Quest Physical Therapy, Seniors Helping Seniors, and Orion Family Spinal Center. Learn more about local businesses such as Kidz 1st Pediatrics, Millage Family Chiropractic, DeClaire LaMacchia Orthopaedic Institute, and Brain Balance of North Oakland.
Event-goers are invited to enjoy samples of healthy food from Kroger and Lockhart’s BBQ – Lake Orion. There will be an opportunity to taste delicious soups and stews from vendors like ‘wiches, Honest to Goodness Breakfast and Smoothies, and Chef Teriesa, and to stroll around and meet some of area non-profits including Bryan’s Hope and the Orion Township Public Library. While there, sample some healthy desserts from One Thirty Nine Delights and Crates Coffee House.
