In this Earth Rap, I imagine a world where we live in peace and harmony with each other and with our divine Mother Earth.
In John Lennon’s words, “you may think I’m a dreamer,” but no, I am a realist. Despite the chaos we now see, what we imagine must take place. First, we must understand the reasons why our world is as it is.
Instead of being angry or fearful at extreme weather, let us try to imagine why this is happening to us?
Earth’s kingdom of nature, including great devas of storm and flood, can only respond to our energy. When we fight, when we are divided, they have only our energy to use to create conditions upon Earth’s surface.
When we give thanks for Earth’s bounty, we then can imagine a world of divine relationship with Her. She wants this. She nurtures us, keeps us safe, feeds us, and heals us.
When we are sick, let us imagine the fruits of the Earth—herbs, berries, and the green peace of nature—healing us.
When we feel despondent, let us imagine how this advanced Intelligence must feel when we take and take from her without any thought of return.

Earth Rap
Astrologers, ancient and modern,
Gaze at the heavens above and
The glorious patterns that shape us.
Marveling at the celestial realms
With faith and science intertwined
In heavenly calculations.
But what of Earth? Ancient planet
A fragile speck in the dark
of space: holding us for eons.
Safely, through destruction and war;
Quietly, never judging,
Allowing us to live our selfish dreams.
Ecologists cast your eyes to the
Earth beneath your feet; to Her oceans,
And Her skies above.
Let us feel Her nurturing power
And our minds will follow. She is all to us;
Asking nothing for Herself.
Earth, sacred Mother, who feeds us;
Whose grounding energies awaken us,
To manifest our heart’s desires.
As all life, She responds to our
Love. She knows we are awakening
To a new understanding of Her beauty.
Now is the time for the Earth R-Evolution!
We no longer take – as selfish children
But give back – as enlightened adults.
Cleaning Her body is vital.
But loving Her compassionate Heart
is the miracle key for our future.
She is alive! She is advanced!
She is our Divine Mother. Chant this –
Blessed is the Mother Earth!
