The Garden of Life

Spring is upon us, and for many gardeners, this is the time to decide which seeds will be planted. It all depends, of course, on what you desire to harvest. Planning is an important part of gardening, just as it is with life. The choices made today have a direct effect on the outcomes of tomorrow and beyond.

As change is in full effect with the seasons, so it is with the world around us. The turmoil that the world has been experiencing has, in a way, worked to till the soil and prepare it for new growth. Tilling is the process of loosening, aerating, and breaking up compacted soil to prepare the ground for planting. Many old beliefs, which no longer serve us as we move into a unified way of being, need to be broken down, making way for new ideas, greater understanding, with love and compassion for all.

This evolutionary process is fueled by the intention we hold as a collective. Just as a garden needs planning, so does the process of healing, which the planet and humanity desperately need at this time. Even after the ground is tilled and readied for planting, without taking appropriate action, the garden would only reap whatever plants resulted from the random seeds that were scattered there by the prevailing winds of Spring.  With proper intention and forethought, however, a garden can provide a bounty of goodness for all to enjoy.

The future is ours to design, but we cannot wait any longer. It’s time to decide what, exactly, we wish to harvest and begin the process of planting. If unconditional acceptance and understanding are desired, you must be that seed. You must plant that element into the world by being the seed that will sprout more fruit of the same. If peace is what you dream of, boldly bring peace into every moment of your day. With each interaction, consciously find ways, through your thoughts and actions, to plant a seed of calm and peacefulness there.  As you emanate this powerful, healing energy, you will not only be affecting change in that moment, you’ll be creating a ripple of beautiful energy which will elevate the collective vibration across the globe.

It all begins with an intention.  It’s so true that what we think about, we bring about. So, knowing this, can we just decide to explore the images and emotions that come with visualizing how we wish it could be? It starts with a thought. It starts with a clear image of what we want to harvest in our lifetimes. This must be an intentional act, which is coupled by the emotional charge of already having exactly what we want. The emotional aspect is the fuel that works like fertilizer, accelerating growth and increasing the bounty at harvest time.

I’m asking each of you to consciously replace limiting thoughts with the promise of unlimited potential that the Universe provides us.  Stop listening to and repeating narratives which support a failing, corrupt and evil world. Give up the fear based thinking of doom and gloom. Choose to move through each day with an elevated awareness of your words, actions, and even the quality of your thoughts, making sure that they align with the world you want to be a part of.

It’s time now to decide. What seeds are you going to plant now that the soil has been sufficiently stirred up?  What intentions are you prepared to hold strong in your mind and heart, as we are given the opportunity to begin again.  Every day is a chance to do just that. Begin again. You can choose to stand on the sidelines and simply be a spectator or get your hands dirty and actively contribute your energy towards a specific outcome.  Join me in seeing the good in everyone and everything.  Choose your thoughts wisely and plant what you desire to reap.
