Whole Foods Market hosts Esselstyn at “Get Fired Up!” events

New York Times best-selling author of The Engine 2 Diet, Rip Esselstyn will share his inspirational healthy eating lifestyle message at three public events. Participants will learn how to kick-start a plant-strong diet, get news about the Engine 2 diet, and receive free products.

The Engine 2 Diet: The Texas Firefighter’s 28-Day Save-Your-Life Plan that Lowers Cholesterol and Burns Away the Pounds documents Esselstyn’s success in helping fellow Engine 2 firefighters in Austin, Texas overcome high cholesterol levels and obesity, and improve overall health. Esselstyn’s plant-strong eating plan is based on a diet of whole foods including whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and seeds.
