Spring VegFest Returns to Eastern Market – Michigan’s Largest Plant-Based Event

Detroit, MI – VegMichigan’s 24th annual Spring VegFest returns to Eastern Market on Sunday, June 1, offering a delicious and fun-filled day celebrating the power of plant-based living. With an expected 10,000 attendees, this family-friendly event will feature food trucks, restaurants, cooking demos, and free food samples, along with eco-friendly vendors, kids’ activities, and free massages from Irene’s Myomassology Institute.

Attendees can enjoy an impressive variety of food—from acai bowls and salads to burgers, coney dogs, empanadas, pizza, and sweet treats like cinnamon rolls, cannolis, and donuts. Cooking demos and educational presentations begin at 10:30 a.m. and run throughout the day.

“Come out for a fun afternoon and learn why so many people are adding plant-based meals to their diet,” says VegMichigan President Tom Progar.
