Have you ever noticed that in the darkest of moments, one small glimmer of goodness can be more powerful than you had ever known it to be possible before? Maybe you’ve had a freedom or ability temporarily taken away from you due to unforeseen circumstances. In the following time, I’m guessing that you became more aware of how much you may have taken that “one thing” for granted in your life.
Don’t kid yourself. We are living in a very turbulent time for mankind. When surrounded by uncertainty, it can be difficult to see anything but darkness. And that which we focus on, we fuel into greater existence. However, while challenging situations can easily grab your attention, they also have the amazing ability to increase your appreciation for the better times if you learn to appreciate the roles that each of them plays.
Remember, where you place your focus is your choice. When you purposely increase your overall awareness, you can start to see how everything has an upside – everything. Every dark moment can become a magnificent backdrop for the better things to shine even brighter if you frame them appropriately.
As we advance along our spiritual paths and our life experiences begin to pile up, we’re given the chance to witness many examples of our resilience and how those dark moments have helped to reveal goodness, which is sometimes hidden in this world. This doesn’t happen automatically in every person’s life journey, though. Some folks move through life feeling victimized and never really notice how much insight is there for the taking.
Once you take some time to increase your awareness and see the potential for living a more positively focused life, you’ll begin to transform your mind in ways that will leave you feeling supercharged. You’ll become adept at not only identifying the good stuff, but you’ll also learn to embrace the tough stuff, appreciating the role that it plays in the grand scheme of things.
The Universe is continuously providing experiences for you to learn from. By appreciating the positive role that dark moments play, you’ll be better equipped to remain grateful regardless of what’s happening around you. If you find it difficult to shift into a more positive mindset, Hypnotherapy can help. Call today for a free consultation and stop feeling victimized by the world around you.
