The Power That Lies Within Our Heart

Holistically speaking, there is no dispute between our feelings and emotions and their impact on our bodies.

To some degree, we do have control over this. For example, deep trauma can cause a person to seek refuge in drugs and alcohol. That is a choice.
Chronic stress can have a deteriorating effect and create illnesses such as digestive issues, cardiovascular problems, and even more serious health complications. While we cannot control the stress we are being dealt with, learning how to manage stress is crucial for our emotional and physical well-being.

But now, let’s think about how the emotions of joy, ecstasy, and gratitude make our bodies feel. While these emotions are more immediate to the situation, the memories and imprints they leave can last a lifetime. Just as we experience the unhealthy effects of negative emotions, the powerful feelings associated with love can be life-altering, healing, and even more profound. It has been scientifically proven that feelings of laughter, gratitude, and love have the ability to promote remarkable healing, even in cases where a bleak prognosis has been given. Dr. Joe Dispenza is one famous example, and his life’s work is to help people understand the power within their hearts to achieve what was previously perceived as the impossible.

While we have yet to comprehend the extraordinary ways that faith and love can help us exceed our concepts of limitations, one thing is for certain: there is no denying the miraculous power of love.
