Cahill Veterinary Hospital, Downriver’s First Integrative Veterinary Hospital, has expanded its alternative therapies to include animal Reiki and other energy healing techniques. Reiki is energy healing that is used to help heal, maintain, or enhance emotional, behavioral, and physical states. It is noninvasive and relaxing for most animals and is a complement to other forms of healing. Reiki can be performed alone or in combination with other therapies including chemotherapy and acupuncture. Reiki can also be practiced during euthanasia to help relax the animal and ease its passing.
Cahill has also completed construction of its grooming salon which is open for business Monday through Friday. Grooming is available for both dogs and cats. Appointments can be made by calling Cahill.
