By popular demand the Motor City Biscotti-Mix will be available in January 2014.
For those out of the biscotti loop, the innovative Biscotti Bar Bakery in Livonia set another American standard with their Motor City Biscotti, and in January you will be able to make your own from their new mixes:

Starting in December 2013 you can get a sneak preview at the Biscotti Bar Bakery’s retail outlet located at 38741 Ann Arbor Road in Livonia.
You are welcome to visit during retail hours for some fresh baked and ready to enjoy Motor City Biscotti, organic butter cream frosted cakes and cupcakes, Ghirardelli chocolate brownies, scandalously delicious scones, or a best in class organic cheese cake.
The Biscotti Bar Bakery started their retail and wholesale bakery in Plymouth in 2008 and expanded to their 6000 square foot Livonia building in 2011. They are known for commitment to organic and natural ingredients and concern for food security and environmental protection. They offer a wide range of baked goods and have a flair for custom creations as well as special event planning. You can also get Food Network competition quality gluten free biscotti, cakes, muffins, scones and cupcakes. They supply many upscale cafes and coffee shops including Espresso Elevado in Plymouth, Tuscan Café in Northville and South Lyon, Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe in Detroit, Socrea’s and many others.
Katherine and her holistic investors started their bakery in 2008 with an eye toward creating jobs: “During the early days of the recession in 2008 with layoffs, foreclosures and economic panic, we wanted to do our part to help. We actively quoted Margaret Mead: ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful people can change the world, and we chose to make a change by creating jobs in our little corner of Michigan. We wanted to start a tsunami of hope and recovery in our little bakery, one biscotti at a time.” They were also determined to “get people talking about the importance of natural and organic foods and the issues with pesticides, GMO’s, and synthetic additives.”
Katherine says, “We are deeply connected to healing and nourishing our world at all levels by creating each biscotti, cupcake, brownie and muffin with a singular intention to make people happy and engage them in awareness of food supply and environmental issues that intimately impact every being on our planet.”
Can Motor City Biscotti save our world? Yes! According to Katherine, “Biscotti are the cookies that conquered the world. They are the snacks that powered civilization from Roman legions to Christopher Columbus and the crew of the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.”
