Shalva Adult and Child Psychiatry is pleased to invite you to our two open houses, Thursday, June 9, 7:00-9:00p.m., and Sunday, June 12, 2:00-4:00p.m.

Our office, located at 21751 W. 11 Mile Rd., Southfield, will be open to the general public, patients and their families, mental health professionals, primary care physicians, neurologists, and clinicians. At this time, we will introduce you to all the wonderful treatment modalities we provide for your health and well-being.

Visitors are free to stop by and gather information materials or stay for a more in-depth discussion. There will be a program and tour of the two-level facility led by Drs. Dorit Ben-Ami and Richard Linsk. Individual presentations by Shalva’s clinical staff will also take place. You will have an opportunity to learn about integrative approaches to mental health, and meet one-on-one with Shalva’s team.

We will discuss proven, sustainable approaches to conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, anxiety, addictions, dementia, ADHD and autism. We will also show you how we give patients room for healing and wellness through a wide array of modalities. Visitors will see clients’ artwork highlighted throughout our facility, and enriching family and group therapies are ongoing. Two fully-outfitted play rooms also give children a means of expression while benefiting from individualized therapy.

The doctors will lecture on topics that include:
Advanced diagnostics such as neurotransmitter panels, pharmacogenomic/gene testing for medication efficacy, and QEEG 3-D Brain Maps
Metabolic testing, allergies and hormones
Therapies such as DBT, intuitive art, neurofeedback, biofeedback, substance abuse, CBT exposure therapy, attachment-oriented therapy, family and marriage
Nutritional assessment and counseling
