Soul Love

I remember many years ago when I began my daily gratitude practice and was guided to think of someone that I loved unconditionally. There are so many people I love, but at that time, the only being I felt truly honest to love unconditionally was my pet. I am so grateful for my spouse of 25 years, our children, extended family, and beautiful friendships, old and new. I love them all. However, back then, I thought I could only focus on my pet to invoke the state of unconditional love, of soul love in my whole being, and beyond that, brings me to a state where I can receive guidance from spirit in a clear and loving channel.

I’ve learned since then that we can love people just as deeply and not necessarily continue to interact with them as we used to. We can love people without expectations by learning to not only “see them” but to be more accepting of them for who “they” are. By allowing others ‘the space” to be imperfect, we also become more forgiving of ourselves, which allows for more self-love.

The Power of Love really shines from within, not like ego but like the spark of the creator that exists within us all and within all things (as well as trees, mountains, rivers, and our beautiful mother earth, angels, guides, and other beings). When we ignite our divine love and light from the depths of our Souls, it expands beyond our being and into the world, and this world can surely use some more of that.

Loving One Soul at a time,
