The TAPN2U Movement, LLC is proud to continue honoring January 17th as Global Peace Movement Day, a tradition born from a Special Tribute issued by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on January 17, 2025. While the Governor’s recognition was specifically for that date, TAPN2U Founder Dr. Anita C. Powell is carrying the honor forward by observing January 17th each year as a day dedicated to peace, unity, and self-awareness.
The Special Tribute in 2025 marked a turning point for the Movement,” said Anita. “Each year we grow as Peace Partners and gather on January 17th, we expand the reach of Peace and breathe new life into that honor, helping to carry the message of unity, peace and love farther across the world”.
The week of January 17, 2026 will include:
- Global Peace Partner Video Campaign – Individuals worldwide are invited to submit an up to 17-second video sharing their name, country, and declaration: “I believe in peace.”
- Virtual Spoken Word Poetry – Showcasing the creativity and vision of Peace by SoulBeautiful Brothers and Sisters worldwide, on January 17th.
- Global Virtual Broadcast – Featuring peace partners from around the globe. Video montages will be aired in the week of January 17th and shared across social media platforms.
The TAPN2U Movement is dedicated to raising high vibrations of peace and love through its movements and programs, including Miracle “T”s—symbolic wearables that spread a powerful principle of peace—for thought healing within our community ~ one soul, one individual at a time.
