The Lord’s Prayer & The Chakras
Your Gateway to the Kingdom of Heaven
By Penny Golden
The Holy Bible states that the disciples asked Jesus, “Master, how shall we pray?” In response, he gave them the Lord’s Prayer.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen
I learned to use this prayer before meditation at an Edgar Cayce Search for God group almost 40 years ago. The members were committed to Group Meditation, and we meditated at different locations but together in Spirit every night at 9 p.m.
I was so faithful to these meditations. I remember one time I was out with my girlfriends for dinner and drinks, and I hid in the bathroom to meditate so I wouldn’t miss out on the group session.
Within a year of meditating daily, profound things began, including raising the Kundilainian Force through my Spiritual Centers (chakras) and finding myself in deeply peaceful, calm, and joyful states.
At first, I wasn’t fully aware of how the energy was moving through my body as I meditated. It was, for me, an escape from my busy life and mind. But over time, I became more aware of how the energy moved in and through my body, especially when I said the Lord’s prayer.
Since the Lord’s Prayer has profoundly affected my life, I want to share with you how I use it and the order in which it opens my chakras, allowing me access to higher realms or, as some call it, the kingdom of heaven.
To begin, I relax my body and quiet my mind by saying the Lord’s prayer. As I say, “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,” the 6th Energy Center or Chakra becomes awakened (see the illustration of where the centers are and how they are numbered).
The order goes like this:
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name” – Opens the 6th chakra (called the Third Eye).
“Thy kingdom come” – Opens the 7th chakra (Crown).
and “Thy will be done” – Opens the 5th chakra (Throat).
“On earth as it is in heaven” – Opens the 4th chakra (Heart).
“Give us this day our daily bread” – Opens the 3rd chakra (Solar Plexus).
“Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors” – Opens the 2nd chakra (Sacral).
“Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil” – Opens the 1st chakra (Root).
The closing phrase, “For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,” activates and consolidates the energy in a trinity above the head, heart, and abdomen.
When I noticed that the prayer was opening my 6th energy center first and not the 7th, I tried to change the order, but my body remained restless, and my mind was still racing. Focusing on the 7th chakra first did not help me reach a deep meditative state.
Fortunately, I came across an Edgar Cayce reading that said the chakras do not flow in a straight line; they curve like a shepherd’s hook from 5 to 7 to 6 (see illustration).
If this information is new to you, I hope it will help you connect to the Divine more directly and receive knowledge and wisdom, as I have over the years from Ascended Masters, Anglic Angels, and Jesus himself.
Check back next month for part two, covering how to access the Heart of Hearts or Divine Heart.
