“We’re on our way…to something greater!” That’s the mantra of Unity of Greater Lansing. And they made it happen. On June 1st, Unity sold their building at 240 Marshall and moved in with Plymouth Congregational at 2001 E. Grand River. The two congregations will share the building facilities, while maintaining their own individual identities. This plan gives Unity as much time as necessary to find their new building. In the meantime, tUnity members will enjoy such amenities as ground level, handicap accessibilty; many bathrooms; children’s rooms located close to the Sunday Service; and adjacent parking. The Centrum at Plymouth will also hold 700 persons, allowing Unity to expand and grow. The new service time for Unity of Greater Lansing has been set at 11:30 a.m.–one half-hour later than previously. The joy, enthusiasm, outstanding music and prayerful spirit remains the same!
GRATITUDE AND THANKS! On June 3rd, the Plymouth Congregatoin graciously hosted a wonderful “Welcome Gathering” between services to both meet and greet the Unity congregation. There were many smiles, hugs and handshakes!
