Unity of Livonia has a new minister, Rev. Cindy Yamamoto.
Cindy entered the formal Ministerial and Religious Studies program through Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institution in 2017. She completed her Masters of Divinity and officially became a Licensed and Ordained Unity Minister on June 15, 2020.
Upon her first visit to a Unity church, Cindy felt at home. She immediately immersed herself in Unity teachings, often attending classes several days a week. The more she learned, the more she was compelled to share. Her desire to share the message of Truth led her to develop multiple classes and workshops, which she has taught at Unity churches and in classrooms, non-profit agencies, and business networking groups. In the past several years, she has led group meditations and served as a Sunday speaker at ten Unity churches in five states.
Becoming an ordained Unity Minister is the fulfillment of a nearly lifelong dream for Cindy. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Education degree, but eventually, she found that she longed to teach more than ABC’s and 123’s. She then became a certified Life Coach after studying at the Coaches Training Institute and has coached many people through the YMCA and other organizations.
In everything she has done and will do, Cindy lives a life of love and gratitude. Among the things she is most grateful for are her four children, three grandchildren, and her loving and supportive husband, Ken, through whom she welcomed three more children and three grandchildren. Her family serves as a constant source of joy and inspiration.
Please join us in welcoming Cindy to Unity of Livonia!
