You know I care

You know, I care deeply about my clients, and I’ve been doing this for a long time. Recently, I’ve noticed a troubling pattern that deeply saddens me as both a psychic and a mother. In many of my readings, I encounter situations where there is a lack of communication between mothers and their children, or even between children themselves. This lack of connection sometimes seems more pronounced with boys, as they may struggle to express their emotions openly. I believe that much of this disconnect stems from childhood experiences.

When children are young, they exude boundless love, respect, and admiration for their parents. Everything seems perfect in their eyes. However, as they grow older, external factors such as a parent’s behavior, a divorce, or a family tragedy can alter their perceptions. As children mature, they begin to form judgments and expectations, which can sometimes lead to conflicts within the family dynamic.

Sibling rivalry can also exacerbate these issues, with children feeling overlooked or unloved compared to their siblings. Misconceptions and hurt feelings can fester, causing rifts that are often challenging to mend. No parent is handed a manual on how to navigate these complex family dynamics and ensure that their children continue to love and respect them as they age.

Watching my clients go through the pain of estrangement from their children and grandchildren underscores the profound impact of Trauma. It’s disheartening to witness a child using distance as a form of retribution against a parent or caregiver. The complexity of human relationships becomes more apparent as we age, revealing our shared struggles and desires for love and contentment.

Ultimately, what we all seek in life is love and happiness. While these aspirations may seem lofty, they form the cornerstone of human connection and fulfillment. Imperfection is inherent in nature, and understanding and forgiveness are key to nurturing lasting relationships with loved ones. Dealing with past drama and Trauma is a common struggle for many people. We all have unique experiences that shape our perspectives and emotions. It’s important to recognize that everyone faces challenges and battles of their own.

Remember, healing is a journey, and taking small steps towards progress is okay. You have the strength and resilience to overcome challenges and change your life positively. Keep moving forward, and know that you are capable of finding peace and happiness within yourself. If you’re determined to fix things and work towards healing the family, it’s one step at a time.

Thank you, Pauline Dettloff
