As you may recall from last month’s article, there is a wagon that is careening out of control down a large mountain. We are on this wagon. The wagon is gaining speed as it continues on its path. Its only path is one of destruction. It causes pain and suffering whereever it goes. In the end, it has no choice but to crash. It is being powered by our limiting thoughts and negative beliefs. These thoughts suggest that there is not enough to go around, that the Universe is limited, that we must compete for every possession we have, that I am not good enough or I am not worthy of abundance and that hard work can get us through anything and everything. This is a tireless and winless game and puts your life in a vicious samsaric cycle of despair and desperation. It can only lead to pain and suffering. You have a choice. You can remain on the wagon or you can jump off. Are you ready to jump?
How? Simply change the way you think! While we can’t change what happens in the world, we can change the way we think about things. We are tempted to worry and hope we are not affected. If we can come to the reality that at some level of consciousness we hold beliefs of limitation and lack and thus created this, then we can use these times as an invitation to become greater and more abundant than we ever thought possible.
Your current belief systems and thought patterns are rooted in your experiences of the past. These belief systems actually filter the way you view life. It has been proven that the brain only sees and interprets a small fraction of the information that is available. We interpret what we want to believe. For example, I once had a belief that “My wife never listens to me.” This belief had me searching for ways to support its truth. Even when she did listen, I rarely gave her credit for doing so. She will always be propelled to show up as I see her. This is how we project our thoughts onto another and keep them small. We must be willing to open up to see others in a new light. We must let go of these stories and the hold the past has on us. When we do as in this example, I can assure you a whole new world of peace, excitement, passion and joy opens up to you.
Even when we recognize the stories and want to let go, it is often hard to do. At some level even though letting go can be freeing and empowering, we are afraid. The familiar is often preferable to the unfamiliar even if the unfamiliar may bring a life of peace and joy.
There is a gift in today’s economic crisis. Crises such as these can remind us about what is important in life. The pain and suffering it brings helps us consider what needs to change. This is a great gift. It is an opportunity for change. You just have to be willing to let go of the old.
The belief systems that we hold onto are housed in our subconscious. This hold is strong and for us to change we must weaken the hold. We can do this by bringing our consciousness into the present. Science has proven that thoughts are energy. This is good news because energy can be transformed. Yes, at the energetic level, we can actually transform our emotional baggage and be forever free of it!
Over the years, whether as a student, teacher or practitioner, have I found anything that in so little time can change so much with so little effort as with Transformational Breathing. Why? Because the breath affects everything and everything affects the breath. You cannot change anything without changing the way you breathe. It is a fact that the emotional patterns that are with you have affected the way you breathe. If you change the way you breathe, then these patterns can change. It is that simple.
It is hard for people to believe that something so simple can make such a profound change, but it is true. The breath does this because; by breathing in a certain manner you can change the electromagnetic energy field of the body. This energy that you introduce is high in vibration, and it attracts and actually transforms the lower energies that are your emotional baggage. You know these energies as anger, fear, despair, depression, guilt, shame, frustration, pessimism. When we breathe in a conscious manner, these emotions are simply moved to a higher level of vibration. The transformation process makes way for higher energies like joy, love, peace, optimism, hope, empowerment, compassion and forgiveness. Are you ready to let go and give birth to a new view on life? The current economic crisis will be of little consequence to one with such a life view.
To support you on this journey of transformation into joy, there are many teachings that support the change in the breath. Transformational Breathing is a tool that empowers everything and anything that you do. Understanding this and knowing that the objective is a permanent change into a new way of thinking, the teachings of Transformational Breathing expand into many other aspects of conscious living.
Because so much suffering is caused by past emotional trauma, understanding the source of it is empowering. In Transformational Breathing, we learn about these traumas that Leonard Orr, the Father of Rebirthing, calls “The Five Biggies.” We learn the role of forgiveness, miracle consciousness and how Transformational Breathing affects not just our mental/emotional well being but also our physical health and our feeling of Oneness and connection to Source. Through conscious communication, intentionality, leverage and the presence process, we learn and experience issues essential to conscious day to day living. We are introduced to the 5 Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation and Randolph Price’s Abundance Program as powerful and energizing ways to kick start your day. We learn to meditate with the breath, third eye breathing, and how to access chakras off the body. Water breathing is used to access and release birth trauma. Conscious invocations, angel therapy, sound healing, movement therapy and Byron Katie’s, The Work,” are covered and used to guide you to the life you are seeking. We are introduced to personal affirmations in a safe and fun filled container of love and acceptance.
Conscious breathing is powerful. Even so, Transformational Breathing supercharges it with these teachings. Transformational Breathing integrates and supports all truth and brings dozens of teachings and modalities that have been taught throughout time.
Some of them you may have heard of, some of them may be new to you, but when you come to learn how much knowledge and experience is available in Transformational Breathing it will help, guide and assist you on your journey. Our future articles will be here to help and make it easy, joyful and abundant.
My life not too long ago was all tied up in a wagon that was dangerously careening down a steep mountain slope. In fact, it crashed a few times along the way but I kept riding it downhill despite the warnings. And then I discovered the conscious breathing practice of Transformational Breathing. I was able to jump off the wagon and land on my feet. I have started my climb back up the mountain of plenty. My life is now filled with plenty of joy, plenty of love, plenty of prosperity, plenty of health, wealth, optimism, ease and grace. My wish for you is a bountiful, plentiful life full of all that is good. Namaste.
