Children of the World

How do we teach and train our children? Do we use physical violence or harsh words? We can use discipline and loving communication. Reclaim your child and teach them to love and respect all humans, no matter their clothes, skin color, creed, or nationality. Teach them to look others in their eyes, for that is where we see the glory in one another. So when they go out into the world, it can be a better place to live. Take back the responsibility. Be strong and interested in raising your child because these are the children we send out to create a better tomorrow and a new world where we dwell in peace, love, and harmony.

Our children are an extension of our love, and we owe it to ourselves and them to teach them how to love one another, be of good spirits, and live with integrity and joy.

In today’s society, we often have the young raising the young without the knowledge of what’s going on around them. When I was young, out on my own, when someone said I wasn’t confident, I would go to the library and check out a book on confidence or self-esteem and whatever else I needed to grow. If you don’t know how to love or teach, please go to the library, get a book on love, or any other subject that might help teach yourself and your child. We can also go within Self for guidance.

Throughout my life, even in my teens and early twenties, anything I wanted to know, I went to the library. Today, we have many other choices because of new technology. Whether we’re seeking self-esteem, love, patience, or confidence, take the time to make a better you. We are all on a path, a journey, and none of us knows it all, not the parent or the child. If we listen to one another, we can grow together in learning.

Learning

Learning about you can be the best
Thing in life you can ever do.
It can be true, it can be blue.
It’s also, exciting and new.
You can grow to be someone you
Never expected, never dreamed,
Could come true.
God knows you never knew.

I read to, and I taught my child. I would tell him, “When you’ve had enough, let me know.” Sometimes he would say, “Okay, that’s enough.” Then maybe a few days or a week later-more talk! Never stop talking; try to explain things so they will listen and understand. Keep patience. There is a wealth of information we can teach children and ourselves. Don’t give up; you will be surprised how you grow in knowledge and understanding.

I also remember that when my son began to walk, I carried him on my hip. One day, we were walking, and I put him down and said, “OK, you can walk now; you are getting to be a little heavy.” He stood there and began to pout; I kept walking and turned the corner. He took off running so fast to be such a little child; I never had to carry him from that day forward. I still laugh when I think about it today.

Son

Son, who wakes up at dawn,
Smiles with the sun,
Frowns in the light.
Son, who lives in what he
Feels is right…
May God bless him,
And keep all of his troubles in sight.
Bringing him forward into the brightness,
Of his being, into the spirit of light.

Our children need to be taught love and to be given the knowledge of how to go out into the world and be of good character, to have strength and courage. We all need this!

Make your home a sanctuary for you and your children, a place where peace and love abides and abounds. What you have materially doesn’t matter; hold on to love, peace, strength, and hope. Do your best to create a loving atmosphere in your home. Reclaim your child and teach them how to love and respect. Start talking now! Please don’t leave it up to the teachers at school or the outside world. Let’s start at home; this is where it begins. Focus and get on one accord with LOVE! Bring about joy, peace, and love to our inner world- as well as our outer world. Let’s become one with all.

Rock of Faith
When in despair, go to God in prayer.
Know that He is always there,
Believe in Him with all your soul
And through God, you will be made whole.
God is the rock and salvation of our being,
Show love and peace in all of your doings.
Believe in the higher power without a doubt,
And let God bring all good things about.
