Hi Beloved Friends,
I want to share with you my personal story of overcoming and being victorious over cancer. Through the power of love and the power of faith, God gave me his Amazing Grace to move this mountain in a supernatural, natural, and medical way. I want this article to bring hope to you, your family, or friends that you know are now going through cancer. It’s a story of epic encounters with God, angels, and the spirit of wisdom and revelation that brought a divine path to lead me out of the darkness into his marvelous light of healing.
In April 2017, it was the last thing on my husband Joe’s and my mind. I would walk out of the doctor with a diagnosis of rectal cancer. Although this was happening in my life at this time, I felt God’s presence and realized that he prepared me a year prior with different confirmations that he would be holding my hand and carrying me when I had no strength, like the footprints in the sand. It would be a place of isolation and purging from my past for my spirit, soul, and body. I had to let everyone and everything go so I could be in God’s presence to hear his voice and hear his heartbeat of love for me so I could follow his ways and guidance one day at a time so I could get to the finish line of victory!
I realized my prayers indirectly would be answered, although I know my Father God did not put this cancer on me, but he did allow it. Later, I would know the “why” it happened as my story unfolded. I had to experience the pain of suffering, unconditional love, forgiveness, and the mercy of God. The suffering wouldn’t last forever, but it would give me love and compassion to a greater degree, and he would be sending me out to give hope to others. Healing, purging, and preparation would be necessary to enlarge my heart capacity, so I would know true love and intimacy with God as I’ve never known before. I would discover my new identity and new authority over cancer that would help me to fulfill my destiny.
Nine months of preparation would be needed to birth my epic destiny. God would take me to heaven as I ascended and descended back to earth with secrets and mysteries of his wisdom to heal my spirit, soul, and body. He showed me the demons of cancer-fighting against me that I would have to fight in the supernatural through prayer and fasting. He revealed to me my two angels and their names, which are “swift” and “victory’ they would be there to guide me, assist in healing me, and protect me on the journey to freedom. It was a time of war but also a time to know God’s love deeper, my husband’s love and faithfulness to me, and the support of my family and friends that helped me battle the death and darkness with the life and light of Jesus Christ.
I won’t lie that the pain was real and ongoing for months, physically and emotionally, and I suffered greatly, but his purpose for my life gave me great courage to revive me and help me not to give up! His heart is kind, his heart is for you, and he wants you to get to know him, his will, and his ways of his heart. His unconditional love is what helped me to overcome the fear that would give me greater faith and hope. This dark place became a cocoon of preparation to recreate me to become a new person for a new day and a new beginning of a new life of freedom I had never known. I discovered greater intimacy with God, now understanding my true identity and my authority over sickness and the destiny that I was born to do.
He brought me out into a spacious place and gave me a new name, and now my name is VICTORY! He took me from sadness to gladness from the grave to a garden from trauma to triumph, from sorrow to joy! What God did for me, he will do for you if you put him first. He has a prescription for your spiritual healing, emotional, and physical needs as your doctor, and you will discover his heart for you and discover the reason you are here on this earth. May God bless you and give you a fresh revelation of his healing, goodness, and mercy. You were born for such a time as this to be healed and to make a difference.
