May Day! May Day! May Day! As a child, this meant traditions of dancing around a pole, collecting flowers (dandelions), bundling them in ribbon, string, or rubber bands, placing them on neighbors’ doorsteps, ringing the bell (or banging on the door), and running away. ‘Ding dong ditch it’ was good fun, then, and May Day was a festival, not a critical moment to ask for help. Mayday! I must ask for help when I need it.
The throat chakra offers protection from threats, ‘shoulds,’ and shame. The thyroid shields the use of energy, making proteins and balancing the body’s other hormones. Imprinting this energy of support, I feel safe and supported. Freedom from the shoulders’ ‘should’ (compensation for a perceived deficiency); I imprint the energy permitting me to be my Eternal Self. Releasing the ego’s shame (where it happens, five senses converge), l imprint the energy of spiritual pride, allowing (5x) a feeling of worthiness, openness, and a humbling unfolding purpose. Is healing vibration in the throat chakra and not a spoken word yet? Mayday!
I use the third gift of Creation, where FORMING (of basins Gen 1:9) provides us with the ground to grow and imprint this energy, forming the words to speak my needs. The vibration of thought is enhanced by the vibration of sound (even if no one hears) and is unconditionally heard by the Universe. The natural law of attraction vibrating with more energy brings me closer to my needs. Only say the word, and I shall be healed. Mayday! “I am worthy!”
I am perfect, harmony, joy, and wealth.
How am I perfect? God made me.
How am I harmony? It is the natural vibration on Earth. (A= 432 Hz)*
How am I, joy? God delights in my joy.
How am I wealthy? Wealth is God’s love expressed in my life.
Mayday, God! How am I to live? Using an Honest, Open, and Willingness, I surrender myself to the limitless love of God and am grateful. I can ‘think’ an octave scale or a quick Our Father to align my chakras and, when possible, sing it, say it, or sign it. The ‘word’ energy increases vibration, bringing ‘it’ into manifestation through universal laws. My attitude affects my present and future life experiences, so I am adding bass and volume orchestrates for more. This springtime symphony illustrates how my soul’s purpose can emerge perfect: harmony, joy, and wealth.
As this is my birth month, the Universe brings circumstances to me where I confirm or deny re-upping for another year, starting with my state license plate and tabs. So, what state am I in? Good. (I hope.) If it’s ok, then I’m mutating, which is good. What’s on my plate? Am I spinning more than one? Is it balanced? What brings more balance? Who’s keeping tabs on me? (Thank you, Mother/ Father/ God, for your love; I will do my part.) Do I care for me as well as I do my grandsons? Then why drive a car I wouldn’t carry them around in? Ha! I may not be where I want to be, but I am farther away than I was and can take a bus or another spring. I’m in!
Born Kathleen Ann Kavanaugh on May 29, 1958, at 5:45a in South Bend, Indiana (during the era of Ara Parseghian, Dan Devine, and Rudy); my family’s importance was on education, Roman Catholicism, arts, and Notre Dame Football. Avoided topics were alcoholism, emotions, and money. My gifts and talents include mathematics, communication, and healing. I am irritated by injustice, intolerance, and indifference. Was it unjust to be called Chatty Kathy to shut me up? Seven kids is a lot, so I learned more excellent communication skills in which to ascend. No talk of money taught me to understand my value, inspired wicked math skills, and taught me sacred geometry (cutting a hamburger in 7 ways). Denying dis-ease showed me I am responsible for my happiness or unhappiness. Thank God! Problems or lack of experience may be transformed through the right thinking followed by the right action. Saying aloud how I feel or what my needs are is a good first right action.
Returning to when May 1 meant, among other things, forming relational contracts and renewing your relationship with your Eternal Self. Celebrate the Festival of You. Speak up for it. I am. Our common welfare comes first because personal recovery depends on unity. Have some good fun! Spirit is the life, the mind is the builder, and the physical is the result. Together, we can Save Our Ship. We are worth it.
