Imagine a group of spiritually advanced beings—male and female—who have achieved the highest levels of human evolution and could leave this planet whenever they choose. Yet they remain here. Why? Because they’ve chosen to dedicate themselves to humanity’s spiritual awakening. This is the Great White Brotherhood: the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth.
The term “Great White Brotherhood” refers to the color of spiritual light and energy they work with, not ethnicity. In fact, we’re told there are more people of color in this Hierarchy than white. They are composed primarily of Ascended Masters—beings who have completed the spiritual journey described in The Nine Freedoms, achieving transformation beyond even Cosmic Consciousness itself.
Who Are They?
Ascended Masters are rare. Through hundreds of years of dedication and spiritual practice, they’ve transformed their very bodies and consciousness. Historical records document Masters like the Count of St. Germain appearing unchanged in Europe for centuries—proof that Ascension is real, not a theory. Yet these aren’t distant, ethereal beings. They live among us, working quietly in the world.
Alongside the Masters are the Adepts—spiritually advanced beings with specialized abilities who work in every country, holding sanity in the mass of humanity. Together, these beings form an organized, coordinated spiritual intelligence dedicated to Earth’s evolution.
What Do They Do?
The Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth consists of Adepts, Masters, and Ascended Masters who are spiritually enlightened beings responsible for preserving and developing spirituality on Earth. These Masters work from various mountain retreats around the world—including the USA, Egypt, the Andes, Scotland, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, and the Himalayas.
A remarkable glimpse into their work comes from Dr. George King’s account in the book Festival of Carrying the Light. This ancient ceremony, held in greatest secrecy for thousands of years, takes place annually around December 25-26. Dr. King was invited as a special guest by Lord Babaji to witness this sacred ritual. The culmination was breathtaking: the Masters formed a triangle with The Lord Babaji at its apex, tremendous power flowed through each Master into His presence, and from there He sent forth a blessing to the entire world.
This isn’t mystical fantasy. This is organized, potent spiritual work happening on behalf of all humanity.
Why This Matters
These Masters could ascend to higher realms. Instead, they’ve “cast their crowns of glory” to remain here, serving us. Without their work—visible and invisible—humanity would be far worse off. Their blessings flow through sacred rituals, through inspired teachings, through the anchoring of consciousness itself.
