One of my favorite topics is UFOs, or Flying Saucers. I have not only studied the topic for over 30 years but have, since the 1980s, been involved in the international promotion of the truth about UFOs through television and radio, articles and lectures. I was involved in launching a UFO hotline at The Aetherius Society in London, England, which succeeded in drawing attention to this vital subject, and we received many hundreds of phone calls and UFO sightings.
I hope you might attend the lecture, The World Without Flying Saucers – Lifeless! on March 23 (see ad for details) because I want to convince you that the topic of UFOs is one of the most vital – and extremely hopeful – topics facing humanity today. I am not alone in this belief and many of the astronauts, for example, would concur. In fact, astronaut Gordon Cooper, one of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury, the first manned space program of the United States said, “I believe that these extra-terrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets.”
Gordon Cooper was not alone in his belief and many more astronauts have spoken out about UFOs. The late Dr. Edgar Mitchell, a NASA astronaut and the sixth person to walk on the moon, was also intersted in UFOs, consciousness and paranormal phenomena. On his way back to earth during the Apollo 14 flight, he had a powerful raise of consciousness and also claimed to have conducted private ESP experiments with his friends on earth. He was also the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences for the purpose of consciousness research and other related phenomena. You may wonder what consciousness has to do with UFOs. In fact, everything; there are masses of evidence that the Intelligences who man these Craft are far more advanced and enlightened – spiritually, scientifically, technologically – than we are on earth. They have much to share with us and want to do this – but for karmic reasons – we have to take the first step.
Dr. Mitchell publicly expressed his opinions that he was, “Ninety percent sure that many of the thousands of UFOs, recorded since the 1940s, belong to visitors from other planets.” Dateline NBC conducted an interview with Mitchell on April 19, 1996, during which he discussed meeting with officials from three countries who claimed to have had personal encounters with extraterrestrials. He offered his opinion that the evidence for such “alien” contact was “very strong” and “classified” by governments, who were covering up visitations and that UFOs had provided “Sonic engineering secrets” that were helpful to the U.S. government.
My husband, Gary and I were fortunate to have met and dined with Dr. Mitchell, while we were speaking at a conference in London. However, even more fortunate than this meeting was the meeting we both had with the Founder of The Aetherius Society, Dr. George King. He not only introduced us to the topic of UFOs in the 1970s, but became our Spiritual teacher for over twenty years.
Dr. King’s interest began after practicing many different systems of yoga for ten hours a day over ten years until he gained mastery. In 1954, he received his first extraterrestrial contact and is one of the few genuine ET Contactees. Over many years, and until his passing in 1997, he received over six-hundred messages or Cosmic Transmissions that were recorded on tape and are stored for future generations. Like all genuine Contacts, the messages were not given to an individual, or even a group of individuals, but to humanity as a whole. These Cosmic Transmissions are all designed to help all men and women whatever their belief system, to move forward in their evolution. They gave prophecies in the beginning to help establish proof, and later spoke of earth changes that are taking place now – decades before they happened. They have given wisdom and profound spiritual truths in the form of The Nine Freedoms and The Twelve Blessings, and much more.
In this lecture, we will focus on UFOs throughout history from pre-Biblical times to today, as well as on the incredible help humanity has and is receiving from the Intelligences who man these Craft. I shall share personal experiences I have had while involved in the promotion of UFOs, such as a rock “not of this world” that was left behind after a contact in Russia. I was on the phone with the Russian news agency, Pravda, over several days and got the entire rundown of what happened. As usual, very little was ever seen in the Western press.
