Q. I have a fear of driving. Can hypnosis help?

A.  Many people have overcome their fear of driving with hypnosis. For some, it is a fear of driving over bridges; for others, it is driving on the freeway or around curves. Some people have anxiety about driving far from home. Many experience this very common fear, but few people talk about it. Usually, it takes about three sessions. Hypnosis recordings are used for home reinforcement, and self-hypnosis is taught for visualization and self-empowerment.

Q. My husband has COPD and needs to quit smoking. Can hypnosis help?

A.  Hypnosis can help if your husband wants to quit smoking. Contrary to what people see on television and in the movies, you can’t make people do what they don’t want to do. Hypnosis works beautifully if he has the desire to quit smoking. We include stress management and coping tools that help people replace a bad habit with a good one. Have him call a hypnotist to make his own appointment so that he is invested in the program.

Q. Will Past Life Regression Help Overcome my Negative Self Image?

A. If your negative self-image began in a “Past Life,” hypnosis will help by going to that “time-space coordinate” where the pattern began, releasing and clearing it at that point, and then reframing it from a Higher Perspective. If the cause of the problem began in “This Lifetime,” and we guide you to a “Past Life,” you may have missed the boat, so to speak, and it isn’t being addressed as best it should. Instead, we would ask your Higher Self to guide your subconscious mind to go to the cause of that problem, wherever it began in time and space, to release and clear it. Remember, the sub-conscious knows exactly when and where the problem began and can be guided to take you to that time-space coordinate where it is best to resolve it. Sometimes we may go to a lesser experience when needed to begin to release it gently. A Certified Hypnotherapist should be helpful in guiding you in a way that is safe and productive for your highest good and truth and light and healing. This may take up to 3 sessions. Some people do well with less, and some may need a few more. Each person is unique, as is the problem that they choose to resolve. Look at our directory to find a hypnotherapist in your area.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Beshada, C.M.Ht.
