When we are called to be a light worker, it is across the whole spectrum of our lives. Light workers are charged with bringing light, love and knowledge to the universe. We are the angel’s helpers; their hands and feet on the physical plane. If it’s appropriate we can choose to stretch out a helping hand to friends and strangers alike.
We all have those days when we feel old, Sick, Ugly or Tired. Having a Bad hair day? How about a bad hair month? How wonderful is a stranger’s quick smile or compliment then? It can turn our whole attitude around.
Some are experiencing a lack of financial security. Although our worth doesn’t equate to the amount of money in our pockets, it’s hard to remember if we struggle to make car and house payments, buy groceries and pay for life’s little luxuries for ourselves. A simple kindness from an outside source can bring someone back into balance. If you are experiencing financial insecurity, you especially need to give something out to the universe. What you put out you get back, and a dollar in a charity box can work wonders.
Offering a smile to a harried clerk or waiting patiently in line during a price check, watching over another person’s child anonymously while a parent is distracted, offering a friendly ear, holding open a door etc., are tiny things which can make a big difference in someone else’s day. When doing this we are literally modeling behavior we want to see, and thus changing the world. If in offering a friendly greeting we reach across cultural or religious barriers, so much the better. Spending time with a favorite elderly relative or friend and reminiscing are a blessed way to spend time. Our elderly family and friends are our memory keepers.
Someone recovering from the loss of a loved one can be helped immensely by sharing a word of encouragement or a favorite memory. Equally important is to remind them that they are loved and still needed here on this planet.
Donate what you aren’t using to Good Will or the Salvation Army (two of my favorite places to shop by the way!) Think how much cleaner your house will be! Give old blankets and towels to the Humane Society and other animal shelters, our four-legged companions need help too! Participate in volunteer efforts. Follow your own dreams and show us how it’s done!

I firmly believe when we put out love we get it back tenfold. I’ve noticed that as I help others, I am given help when I need it. There’s nothing like feeling the wings on your back open as you own your Earth Angel choices.
You can imagine their inquiry when you leave a stranger’s side after helping them. “Did I just meet an angel?” Yes—an Earth Angel! And trust me miracles in your life become common place when you are an Earth Angel.
It is the greatest gift to be in a place where you can make a difference in another’s life, and isn’t that one of the most important reasons why we are here, to make a difference? Give back. Your life will be richer in return.
For this day I am thankful for all my blessings, chief among them that I may be called upon by my guides and angels to be an Earth Angel and help another entity in some small way and fulfill my mission as a light worker on this beloved plane of existence called life.
