Where Do Spirits Live

Often, I am asked what my dead loved ones are doing wherever they are. Do they live like we do on Earth? What does time mean to them? Are they watching us? Do they eat, walk, or do anything while in spirit?
Interestingly, some spirits live much like they did in their physical life. The more they are still grounded in their Earth life, the more they continue with their life as though they are still in the physical world. I see spirit doing everyday things sometimes. While sleeping one night, I slipped into the realm of spirit; I had a medical emergency and did not know it. However, that night, my brother-in-law, Al, saved my life even though he had died three years prior. When I connect with spirit while doing readings for clients, spirit comes forward and reveals itself in order to communicate what it wants to share through me, but I do not usually see where they are or what they may be doing.
While sleeping that fateful night, I apparently moved beyond the veil to meet with my brother-in-law. During my trip to the other side, I found myself standing in a darkened room, much like any room; the room lights appeared turned off; however, at the opposite side of the room was a doorway; light was coming from the door opening, and I hear what sounded like a TV on in the next room. As I walked toward the open doorway, to my surprise, there was a living room. The TV was on, and Al was sitting in an easy chair watching a show. He turned his head toward me as I walked into the room and, with a stressed look on his face, asked where did I come from? Why was I there? He continues saying Judy (my sister, his wife) is supposed to come here first.
As I watched him, Al appeared exactly like he had in life, doing what he enjoyed and watching TV. The room was fully appointed with everything you would find in a living room. It did not look like the living room my sister and he had in their house when he was alive. Apparently, he was in a different home, but he had a complete home experience. What confirmed this really happened was that Al told me with a bit of frantic in his voice that I needed to call my doctor as soon as I woke up and get to the ER immediately. Now, I felt fine when I went to bed that night, but the urgency in his voice made me feel like I had an emergency situation going on. I woke up, sat straight up in bed, and thought, What is that about? I feel fine.
I went to the ER and found that my Pt/INR (levels checked when you are on blood thinners) I am on Warfarin for life due to four genetic clotting disorders, and my levels are to be managed between 2-3. But when the doctor checked my levels, I was at 24 (this is an extremely dangerous high level), more than 20 points above my goal levels of 2-3. This means I could have a brain bleed, and it is very life-threatening. The doctor said if I would not have come to the ER that morning, I would have been dead before the evening. Thank you, my dear brother-in-law!
My point in sharing this experience with you is to bring about an understanding as to where the spirit may exist in the afterlife. I now see souls in many different environments when I do readings. However, I have not seen spirits eat or drink but have seen them in home or work environments or just enjoying relaxing on a beach, in the mountains, or wherever they choose to be. Now, these are spirits that are still very connected to the lower vibration of Earth living. This is just where they choose to be for many reasons. Spirit will exist in many forms, i.e., When I went through my death experience in 1986, I transformed into pure energy (appearing like a ball of light). I know this because the doctor working on me and who called my death said he saw a spear of energy looming in the room above my body. I also communicated with three spears of energy (they aluminate a very bright white light.) Some souls move to other planets and become alien forms of life connected with the planet they choose to live on. We are interdimensional beings and can go anywhere on this planet or in the universe, only limited by our spiritual development. This is why you need to do all you can to develop your spiritual awareness while in life(s) you live on the Earth plane. Once you graduate from the Earth experience, you can move to the next level, experience many different types of existence, and have experiences you can’t have while the soul is still evolving wisdom and awareness. Much like a child cannot go off to places without supervision to keep them safe, they are just not developed enough to be out and about on their own in the world. This is why you need to complete your experiences on the Earth level. Once you have graduated from the Earth experience, you can move on to the next level of experiencing the universe to further your soul’s development.
