Remember Who You Are

One of the goals I have when I work with clients is to assist them in remembering that we, including them, are all the divine children of the Creator. And, being part of the Divine, it is our duty to do our best to see others through God’s eyes or a higher, more divine point of view. We are literally God‘s eyes on earth, the Creator’s heart on earth.

The most important relationship is your relationship with the Creator. Once our relationship is solidified with the Creator and fully connected with the Divine, we start working on seeing and remembering our divine, eternal self.

So, how do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as the divine child of the Creator, a speck of Divinity, or, if you’re science-minded, part of the matrix, the quantum field? How do you experience your divine light in your connection with the Divine?

However, you experience your connection within the energy field of Divinity, strengthen it. Connect so often and deeply that wherever you go, it’s easy to return to that connection and feeling. It is easy to get back to the feeling of experiencing and knowing you are Divine and that the universe has your back. One of the most important steps I feel you could have is connecting with yourself and the Creator or Source.

Sometimes, we use the Holy Spirit, another guide, or the Christ to connect with the Divine. However, you choose to strengthen your foundation, experience yourself, and know yourself as the divine child of the Creator. You come directly from the Source. No one can take your knowledge and experience once you have it. As long as no one is hurt, however, you choose to connect and remember who you are as the child of the Divine, that is your choice. No one has the right to tell you how or what your relationship as a Divine child is to the Creator has to be. Your inner self, your authentic self, your very soul knows your truth.

Getting to know yourself deeper gives you authenticity and insight that you might not have given this higher perspective. Having a divine, higher perspective gives you a different outlook on life, perhaps a more loving and compassionate outlook on life. As compassion in ourselves grows, we are more easily able to accept ourselves, to be compassionate and loving with ourselves, and that is key to being more compassionate, accepting, and loving of others.

If we are unable to be authentically loving, accepting, and compassionate of ourselves, how can we give compassion to somebody else authentically? So, the first rule of thumb after strengthening your connection and relationship with the Divine, your Creator, is remembering who you are. And in remembering who you are, you are able to develop acceptance, compassion, and love for yourself. You are able to forgive yourself for honest mistakes. And if, for some reason, you choose poorly, you can take ownership of your mistakes and make amends.

We are always able to touch the part of us that is divine. That ability is never lost, even when buried in muck. You might have to dig a little deeper to find it. That’s why it’s great to practice remembering and connecting with who you are, your Divinity.

Love and Light,
