Step Into Your Brilliance

Why does stepping into your innate brilliance, beauty, and divine destiny mean ‘stepping down’?

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth” Mathew 5:5

Growth is moving from a limited form of love to an unlimited. We all believe at some point that our worth is attached to what we do, our reputation, accumulations of things, people, etc. You only suffer when you attach something to your worth. Your worth is here, now.

As we spiritually grow and mature, we realize we are the qualities of the divine: Love, Beauty, Prosperity, Energy, Compassion, etc. Your worth is not something you can lose, fight for or earn. You are born with everything you need. You are love. The external world cannot give you …you…

As we shed the false personality it feels as if we are losing something. It feels like we are dying. This is why a bad day…can be a good day to shed ego. As we humbly accept life as it is, (go meek) we inherit a new awareness and new life. As we go ‘meek’, we humbly connect with others, animals, and life. We “inherit the earth”…meaning we feel the supportive loving intrinsic web of connection.

Acceptance is another form of surrender. Until we accept something, we are in a constant ping pong match of interaction. Meaning, what we focus on, we will get more of in our life. This is why Mother Teresa was willing to go to a peace rally but not an anti-war rally. Acceptance brings choice.

What you bow to…bows back. Honor all of life as sacred and life will reveal to you its secrets. Hold reverence for humans, animals, and nature and you will commune with the magic within all living forms. Bowing, acceptance, humility or going meek, (words for the same thing) you yield to the YOU that has always been. You can only let go of what is not real. The REAL you is Love.

“All streams flow to the sea because it is lower than they are. Humility gives it its power. If you want to govern people you must place yourself below them.” Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu

It is through humility that we realize our innate greatness. The ego will cause you to believe you are separate from others, and what you want. Surrender is a tool to shed the false personality and open to your True Self.

“The greatest leaders are the greatest servants” The Dalai Lama

You can only let go of the you that is not real. The Real you are God/Love. All things are possible in God. So, to make all things possible, you must step into your God-self. The God within awaits your yield.

Leadership is through the vibration or energy you live in. As you live from an awareness of your True Self you ignite this in others like a tuning fork. As you see beyond the formations of your humanity, you see your divinity. Trans-formation…to change form.

“Live move and have our being in God” ACT 17:28

Conditions, people and circumstances can distract you from thinking you are something other than your God nature. You are meant to lose your Self to find your True Self, in an even greater way.

Surrender, humility or being meek, means living in your real magnificence. However, your false personality or ego will not want to do this. You won’t “feel like” doing the thing that is good for you or doing the fun creative project. You must crave transformation like a drowning man craves air. This is why sometimes success and comfort can be the antidote to spiritual growth. This is why tragedy, pain or loss seems to still be the highest growth impetus for most of humanity.

“You can choose to grow out of inspiration versus perspiration.” Dr. Michael Beckwith

The struggle doesn’t have to be your path. Surrender from the beginning to your wholeness. Open to your true nature now. Consciously surrender…be meek..like water, and you unite with the ocean of real power and your innate wholeness.

Surrender daily to your true self. Bow humbly to the sacred within you and all beings. Live your life as if it is a miracle, and your choices and actions will align with miracles for the benefit of yourself and your mission.

Your brilliance is always there and cannot be destroyed. It is human arrogance to think we can change what the divine made. The real beautiful you are already here…if you believe there is a ‘there’ you will never get there.

“We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring Will be to arrive where we started but know the place for the first time.” T. S. Elliot
